SocialDistancingSigns.uk was launched during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, at a time none of us will ever forget.
As businesses, schools, care organisations, community groups and public services suddenly found themselves needing social distancing signs, floor stickers, posters and other safety materials, demand rose enormously. Unfortunately, in some places, prices rose just as quickly.
We wanted to do something different.
SocialDistancingSigns.uk was created to provide free and low-cost signage to help people communicate the rapidly changing rules and, most importantly, help keep people safe.
What began as a response to an extraordinary situation quickly reached much further than we ever expected. During the pandemic, we supplied and delivered signage to customers around the UK and across the world, and provided more than 60,000 free downloadable, customisable safety signs to anyone who needed them.

It was a privilege to play a very small part in helping businesses, organisations and communities through an incredibly difficult period.
Most importantly, we would also like to say thank you to the emergency services, NHS staff, carers, key workers, volunteers and everyone else who stepped forward when they were needed most.
While many of us were being told to stay at home, you went to work.
You cared for people, kept essential services running, supported communities and helped the rest of us through a period of uncertainty that few could have imagined.
Thank you for being there for all of us.
The need for SocialDistancingSigns.uk has thankfully passed, and the website has now closed.
We are proud of what this little website achieved, grateful to everyone who supported it and very happy that the reason it needed to exist has finally become part of history.
